The client brief was for a modern clean lines look, but with a little bit of retro styling. The open timber look shelves not only help to create the desired look perfectly, they also delineate the space as ‘the kitchen’, whilst still maintaining an open plan feel. The addition of lighting on the shelves will ensure the look can be fully appreciated at night too. The use of strong feature colours such as orange and red for accessories, add playfulness, and contribute their part to the ‘retro’ styling. The space is used super effectively and ensures maximum storage and benchspace.
