When the space dictates a G-shape kitchen, it is great to have a designer who is not only able to use that space effectively, but be able to create stunning looks too. The drama of the Charcoal Laminex cabinetry is nicely balanced by the crisp white of the walls and subway tiles. Choosing a light coloured tile for the kitchen floor lightens the space and assists in balancing the whole. The added benefit of using tiles for the kitchen area is that they require much less maintenance. The addition of the tan leather stools, combines beautifully with the timber floors and other timber features and softens the look. Both the chairs and the pendant lights above the breakfast bar, set the mood for a very pleasant and convivial space.
The design has plenty of storage which includes a very practical walk-in pantry, complete auto-light on opening, wine rack, as well as plenty of ample drawers. Benchspace is also maximised, and the choice of Smarstone’s ‘Amara’ is a beautiful choice to complement the floor tiles and other elements.
