This lovely, airy kitchen has a typical layout found in many Australian homes. G-shape, whilst not a contemporary layout, is nevertheless a very cook-friendly set up. It allows the cook to move along the benchtop with everything easy to hand. The work triangle is clear and therefore adds to the ease of use. The sink under the window as the central starting point is usually the most commonly seen scenario, with the rest of the layout flowing on from there. The breakfast bar, whilst not huge, still allows for seating for that quick meal or cuppa. Placing the microwave and oven in a tower cabinet is a great way to use the space, and is the best ergonomic option. A generous corner pantry and fridge space, with a good combination of drawers and cabinets, complete the design. The Shaker door adds style and a lovely ‘homey’ feel to the space. Using the Smartstone Amara for the benchtop and the splashback makes the kitchen look more spacious and adds a touch of luxury to the look.
