It is wonderful to witness good design, specially when the space available is less than ideal, is restricted, and has to accommodate more than just the normal kitchen appliances and services.
By removing most of the dividing wall between the old kitchen and laundry, a cleaner, more functional design was able to be created.
A neutral contemporary colour palette enhances the more open look and is ready to receive a focal touch of colour, should the owner’s wish. Anything from subtle blues or greens, to more adventurous hues would work equally well.
What matters is that the the canvas to work on is good, and the functionality is maximized also.
The pretty subway tiles soften the look. Using a coloured grout to match the benchtop, also balances with the similarly toned floor.
A lovely facelift for this compact unit kitchen.
