Galley Kitchen with Corian Benchtops and Porcelain Splashback

A total revamp was in order for this luxury unit with stunning views of Johnston’s Bay. The existing kitchen, though serviceable enough, was brought up to date and made super light and bright, by the use of white, handle-less polyurethane cabinets, and White Cameo Corian benchtops. The Smartstone, 12mm splashbacks in Calacatta Prestigio porcelain, create beautiful, yet unintrusive walls on either side of the galley. With black shadow lines to balance with the black framed windows and appliances, the effect is both stunning and subtle at the same time. The timber shelves and cute handles on the hidden pantry/prep area, add the necessary warmth, play off the veining on the splashbacks, and also balance with the outlook from the kitchen window.
Dark honey high gloss timber floors were replaced with cement look tiles in the kitchen, leading to more muted timber floors in the living areas.
Plenty of drawers, clever storage and design solutions, as well as generous benchspace, make this galley kitchen a joy to work in.
The end result is a much more contemporary look, that is relaxing, easy to work in, and a class act that will look fabulous for many years to come.
