These bathrooms illustrate that ones own private space, such as a bedroom ensuite, need not necessarily follow the same colour scheme as the bathroom for general use.
The ensuite is softly elegant, with its calm whites, greys and soft pastels. The marble tiles, gold taps and Shaker style doors add luxury, form and interest. Note what a pretty addition the storage shelf unit for the towels makes. It also creates the perfect spot for greenery and decor items, further enhancing the charm factor. In the vanity section, also note that the wall tiles were only used in the splashback area, as opposed to having them floor to ceiling on every wall. This then allows for artwork to be placed on the un-tiled walls, again adding to the aesthetics of the space.
For the main bathroom a sharper look was desired, though still retaining some of the same elements, such as Shaker style doors and traditional tapware and accessories. The black vanity, tapware and accessories create a sophisticated look, that is easy to maintain.
Wall niches and mirrors with storage were a must have for that extra bit of storage space. Note the clever round mirror set up in the main bathroom.
