This gorgeous bathroom, which formed part of a larger renovation, very elegantly displays how the addition of texture and pattern are able to add to a design. The use of the lovely marble tiles, laid in a herringbone pattern for the feature wall in the shower and as a splashback under the mirror shaving cabinets, set the mood and feel of this bathroom. The vibe is understated elegance. Using the Shaker door completes the look. The niche in the feature wall also adds depth and interest, and provides that all important area for placement of shower essentials. Custom joinery for the vanity and storage units makes the most of the space available. This subtle colour palette was replicated throughout the project. In order to add interest to each space, different feature tiles were used, which only varied in shape. The total effect was a highly coordinated look, that still managed to make each room look different in its own special way.
