If you’re a fan of Cherry Ripes, and would adore an icecream that tastes exactly like one… but worry about the calories then here’s a recipe that gives you flavour, minus the guilt! Not only is it milk-free it is also free of refined sugar.
Heavenly Cherry Choc Dessert
1 cup Almond Milk
2 tablespoons cocoa (or the natural variety: Cacao)
6 pitted dates
300g box of pitted cherries
2 teaspoons vanilla
1. Add ingredients to a blender and process till smooth.
2. Pour into bowls and serve.
Note: If the mix needs thickening to your desired consistency, add a banana.
