Bath Mats

Truth be known, the bath mat can make or break the look of a bathroom!

There is nothing worse than a great bathroom – full of natural light, airy, clean… with an old, stained bathtowel on the floor…

Recycling may be part of our lifestyle today – but that old bathtowel can be put to better use as a rag for wiping down the car, bike, etc. It’s time for a new bath mat.

When choosing one – why not be adventurous…

They come in an abundance of textures from the standard thick towelled bath mat through to a mat covered in pebbles, and from the safety mat variety through to timber bath slats.

They are also made from a variety of materials ranging from cotton, bamboo (soft, durable, highly absorbent, eco-friendly, hypoallergenic, naturally antibacterial, and if left damp do not smell), and rubber, right through to cedar wood.

As always, look for a design, colour and material that suits your bathroom design. Naturally a rubber bath mat will look incongruous in a traditional bathroom, and a fluffy cotton mat will look out of place in exotic modern surroundings.
