The Quintessential Laundry

One of the disappointing features these days in modern laundry design is the lack of storage space in the form of cupboards and shelves. Indeed, there is often only enough room to fit a washing machine, mount a wall clothes dryer, slide in a clothes basket, and cram all of your washing powders and liquids in a poorly designed cupboard under a sink.

When you have your new laundry designed, look at incorporating:

• wall cupboards
• full standing cupboards
• bench space
• twin sinks
• shelves
• areas to slide clothes hampers away
• adequate air vents / windows to allow condensation to escape
